Greg is the Chief Instructor and co owner of Skydive Temora and has 9000+ jumps.
He qualified as a military parachutist in 1979 and a sport parachutist in 1981. From 1984 he spent 3 years on the British Parachute Regiment Freefall Display Team - the Red Devils, during which time he gained his British Parachute Association SL/Tandem/ AFF Instructor ratings as well as performing display jumps around the world.
On leaving the British Army he became CI of the London Skydiving Centre, then one of the 3 largest DZ’s in the UK, he became an Examiner running and attending Instructor Courses and served as a member of the BPA Council.
He has worked as a freelance Instructor throughout Europe mainly based at Empuriabrava Spain and Texel Holland and finally in search of weather conducive to jumping every day(!) migrated to Australia in 1994.
He has competed at UK National and State level in both FS and CF disciplines but his passion lies in Instruction – introducing others into a sport he lives for.
Greg made his first wingsuit flight in 2001 and like wingsuit flyers before him was totally inspired. His commitment is to furthering education in the sport to facilitate standards for the good of the whole. His BirdMan wingsuit presentation at the recent APF Conference in May launches a schedule of events and boogies which Greg will attend over the next 12 months promoting safe ws flying with beginner’s intros, further coaching and BM Instructor training and evaluations.
